Robert William Roth, 77, of Walnutport, died June 25, 2022, in his home.

He and his wife, Linda E. (Dalrymple) Roth, were married 54 years.

Born Jan. 29, 1945, in North Whitehall Township, he was the son of the late Kermit Lewis and Laura Violla (Remaley) Roth.

A member of United Steelworkers Union Local 2599, he was an assembler at Olson Technologies Inc., formerly W.F. Mosser and Son, Allentown, for 45 years before retiring.

Since his formal retirement, he was employed part-time at A.F. Boyer Hardware and Guns, Slatington.

He was a member of the NRA.

His hobbies included painting and wood working.

He was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by sons Michael C. Roth (Tyleen) of Port Republic, Md., and Daniel F. Roth (Judy) of Slatington; and sister Jean C. Levering of Palmerton.

He was predeceased by a grandson, Collin M. Roth, and a brother Carl K. Roth.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. June 30 in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc, 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. Dr. Becky J. Beckwith officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home.

Interment will follow the service at Union Church Cemetery, Neffs.
