Elizabeth M. “Betty” Shively, 83, of the Lehigh Valley, died on June 25, 2022, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

The wife of Charles D. Shively, the couple was married 58 years.

Born Oct. 15, 1938, in Rutherglen, Scotland, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Agnes (Murray) Menzies.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by a son, Gary V. Shively, of Allentown; daughter Nancy R. Rees and her husband, David, of Newburyport, Mass.; and grandchildren Liam A.G. Rees and Anna S.G. Rees of Newburyport.

She was predeceased by a son, David W. Shively.

Her memorial service will be 7 p.m. July 8 in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville.

Family and friends may pay their respects 6-7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
