Hispanic Center Lehigh Valley Food Pantry seeks hardworking volunteers to assist with stocking shelves 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on the third Thursday of the month. Volunteers would organize the food on shelves after receiving Second Harvest delivery. Minimum age 16 or 14 with adult.

Historic Bethlehem Museums and Sites needs volunteers for the 35th annual Blueberry Festival on July 16 and 17. Two shifts per day are available and volunteers get a T-shirt and free piece of pie or ice cream scoop. Spots also available for set up during the week before and market-to-go/clean up during the week after. Minimum age 15.

ShareCare Faith in Action needs volunteer drivers to take elderly or disabled people grocery shopping and/or medical appointments. Mileage reimbursement available and excess automobile insurance provided by. Must submit to a criminal-background check and attend orientation training. One to two rides a month makes a difference in someone’s life. Minimum age 21 or 18 with adult.

The Whole Life Center needs strong volunteers needed to help unload the Sam’s Club truck 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday in Easton. Weigh each box, put food in freezers or fridges, then reload the remaining boxes back onto the truck for delivery to other pantries and shelters.

YLEAD is a leadership and service program for Lehigh Valley high school students entering 10th, 11th or 12th grade in the fall hosted by Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley. Participants in the program develop critical leadership skills while working to support nonprofit organizations through service projects. Sessions offered are 9 a.m.-3 p.m. July 11-15, or July 25-29.
