Matthew D. Eck Jr., 29, of Macungie, died June 20, 2022, unexpectedly. Born in Allentown, he was a son of Matthew D. Eck Sr. and Diane J. (Fox) Eck.

He was a graduate of Whitehall High School, Class of 2010 where he was a member of the football and power lifting teams.

He was a self-employed carpenter and remodeler. He worked very closely with his Uncle Jim in his construction business.

He was a lifelong Denver Broncos fan, enjoyed weightlifting and was a talented artist.

He showed great loyalty to his friends and family who will truly miss him.

He is survived by parents; siblings, Briana and Joshua; paternal grandparents, James Sr. and Nancy, of Northampton; maternal grandparents, Michael and Sharon Fox, of Whitehall; lots of aunts, uncles and cousins; a niece and a nephew, Aiden and Avi, who adored him. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Sandra Blaetz.
