Whitehall Active Community Center, 2301 Pine St., will be doing a craft project - making a gnome from a sock - 12:30 p.m. July 5. There is a small cost. All supplies will be furnished.

Participants are also invited for lunch, set for 11:30 a.m., before the craft class. Call the day before to reserve a meal for a small donation.

Registration for the craft event is requested, so there are enough supplies for everyone. If you have any questions or would like to reserve a spot, there is a sign-up sheet at the center. You can also call 610-443-0675.

St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave., has announced its summer hours.

The parish office is open 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays. The office is closed Fridays.

The school office is open 9 a.m.-noon Tuesdays-Thursdays or by appointment.
