Anna Mae Williams Bell of PA supervisor

Anna Mae Williams, 92, of Santa Fe, New Mexico, and formerly of Emmaus and South Whitehall, died peacefully on June 20, 2022, at home. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Charles F. and Jennie (Oberholtzer) Mackes.She was the wife of Caroll R. Williams for 70 years.

She was an Allentown HS graduate.

She was a supervisor in the Bell of Pa long-distance (traffic) department.

She was active with the Lehigh Valley Pioneer Club, the Girl and Boy Scouts and the Mountainside (N.J.) and Allentown (Pa.) Garden Clubs. She was a past-president of the Allentown club, where she was active with the formation of the junior gardeners in association with the Phoebe Home.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a sister, Laura F. Frick; four children, Karen and her husband Carl Rago of Sante Fe, N.M.; David of Leonardtown. Md.; Barbara and her husband Charles(Chuck) Lazenby of Atlantic, Va.; and Dean and his wife Joanne of Easton; 10 grandchildren, Ross Lazenby and his wife Niki of Clermont, Fla., Katie and her husband Jason Broadwater of Salisbury, Md., Evan Rago of Redwood City and Emily Rago and partner Eric Rodas of Hayward, all in Calif.; Dr. Alisa Williams of Baltimore, Md., Larissa Williams of Mechanicsville, Md., Lauren and her husband Adam Nieves of Newtown, PA.; Kelly and finace Brandon Spohn of Bethlehem, PA.; and Allison Williams and Christine Williams, both of Easton, PA.; four great-grandchildren, Addison and Bryson Lazneby of Clermont, Fla., and Darren and Allan Nieves of Newton, PA.; and three step-grandchildren, Carmen, John and Austin Broadwater of Salisbury, Md.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Kay L. Roberts, wife of Maurice Roberts of Newnan, Georgia; and a step-brother, Kenneth Mackes of Detroit, Mich.
