The Zombies were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, March 29, 2019, which was 50 years to the day after The Zombies’ “Time of the Season,” from the album, “Odessey and Oracle,” went to No. 1 on American charts. The Zombies was the second United Kingdom band following the Beatles to score a No. 1 hit in America, with “She’s Not There” (1964) and had a followup hit, “Tell Her No” (1965). The group’s most recent album is “Still Got That Hunger” (2015). The band debuted new songs in a September 2021 concert broadcast live from Abbey Road Studio 2, London. The band’s lineup: founding members Colin Blunstone, lead vocals, and Rod Argent, keyboards, as well as Steve Rodford, drums; Tom Toomey, guitar, and Søren Koch, bass, succeeding Jim Rodford, who died in 2018.
