Margaret Bennett-Hammersly, 94, of Cedarbrook and formerly of the Catasauqua Municipal Apartments, died June 17, 2022. She was the wife of the late Byron B. Bennet and Allen R. Hammersly.

She was a daughter of the late John and Catherine (Hook) Sulyk.

She is survived by two sons, Thomas Bennett and wife Sandra and William Bennett and wife Gale; two daughters, Susan Dougherty and companion Bernie Mingora and Ellen Bennett; a sister, Katherine Gerhard; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Catherine Beth Bennett; and three sisters, Sophie Novak, Mary Kometic and Helen Schall.

Services are private.
