Holy Trinity Catholic Church’s parish picnic will take place July 10 at Egypt Memorial Park, 4548 Main St.

The event will begin with Mass 11 a.m. Food stands open 12:15 p.m. The picnic will conclude 6:30 p.m.

There will be a bike ride along the Delaware & Lehigh Trail hosted by Easy Does It Walking/Running/Hiking/Biking in the Lehigh Valley 8:30 a.m. July 10.

The ride is open to the public.

Meet at the Cementon trailhead on Main Street/Route 329 near Northampton-Cementon Bridge.

The trail is flat, well maintained, and much of it is shaded. The group will ride at an easygoing pace, with breaks as needed.

Bring a beverage, snacks or lunch for a picnic along the way.

Registration has been extended for the Shepherd of the Hills’ Vacation Bible School program - “Monumental, Celebrating God’s Greatness!”

The program, which is open to children ages 3 through completed sixth-graders, will run 6-8:30 p.m. July 11-15.

Registration for the fall 2022 field hockey season at Egypt Memorial Park is open through July 15.

Instructional sessions in field hockey fundamentals are available Aug. 7-Dec. 1 for girls in kindergarten through second grade. Practice sessions will take place once a week, and games will be Sundays.

Girls in grades 3-6 may register for competitive field hockey. There will be practice sessions twice a week with games on Sundays.

The competitive season begins Aug. 7 and ends Nov. 1.

Aqua aerobics classes will be offered 6-7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays July 21-Aug. 16 at Cementon Pool.

Parkview and Cementon pools are open for the 2022 season.

The pools are available to Whitehall Township residents only. Proof of identification is required.

Because of a shortage of lifeguards, the pools are open on a rotating basis.

Parkview Pool is open noon-7 p.m. Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Cementon Pool is open noon-7 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Cementon Pool will be closed the week of the Cement Belt Fair - June 27-July 2.
