Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.
MAY 23
A juvenile male was shot when a firearm reportedly discharged accidentally in the 100 block of Railroad Street.
In the 100 block of Pine Street, a traffic violation occurred. A citation was issued.
At Catasauqua Apartments, 118 Bridge St., a welfare check was conducted.
Officers assisted Lehigh Valley International Airport police at the airport, 3311 Airport Road, Hanover Township, for an alert one, and Coplay police in the 100 block of Chestnut Street.
A residence was egged in the 300 block of Mulberry Street. The juvenile was warned.
Charges were filed against Tracy Velez, 18, of Catasauqua, for disorderly conducted in the 200 block of Mulberry Street.
A security check was conducted at Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St.
MAY 24
Traffic violations occurred in the 400 block of Pine Street, with the driver cited; the 300 block of Peach Street, with the vehicle towed, owner cited and license plate seized; and the 200 block of North 14th Street, with a citation issued, license plate seized and vehicle towed.
A dog was returned to its owner after it was found in the 400 block of Walnut Street.
Charges were filed against Luis Collazo, of Whitehall, for simple assault during a harassment incident in the unit block of Pineapple Street.
Two female juveniles - aged 13 and 14 - were cited for harassment during a disorderly conduct incident at Innovative Arts Academy, 330 Howertown Road.
A report of harassment by communication was investigated at 124 Bridge St.
At Second and Walnut streets and in the unit block of Front Street, parking complaints were addressed.
In the 300 block of Mulberry Street, a neighbor dispute took place.
At Catasauqua Towers, 534 Third St., officers assisted a citizen.
Police conducted a security check in the 500 block of St. John Street.
MAY 25
A traffic violation took place in the 800 block of Race Street. A verbal warning was given.
A dispute between a mother and son occurred in the 700 block of Third Street.
In the 800 block of Walnut Street, officers investigated a report of a suspicious person.
Police responded to a disturbance in the unit block of Pineapple Street.
At Front and Pine streets, two vehicles were involved in a reportable motor vehicle accident.
Officers assisted Whitehall police on Zephyr Boulevard and a citizen at Front and Pine streets for an emergency protection-from-abuse order.
At Pine and Front streets, an officer was injured.
In the 200 block of Church Street, a verbal disturbance between a mother and daughter occurred.
An animal complaint at Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., was forwarded to an animal control officer.
Police responded to a mental health call in the 300 block of School Street.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police in the 1000 block of Fifth Street for a domestic disturbance.
