The Upper Macungie Township is partnering with Wildlands Conservancy to offer a new art camp for kids in kindergarten through fifth grade 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 20-24 at Lone Lane Park, 30 Lone Lane.

Kids will explore the microscopic world hidden in tall grass and look into the face of an owl before they turn it into art. This camp will feature hands on exploration, drawing, painting, sculpting and other basic art forms.

Each child will need to bring a nonperishable lunch. Snack will not be provided.

The township is also partnership with Mad Science of the Lehigh Valley to offer kids ages 6-12 Brixology Camp between 9 a.m. and noon June 27-July 1 at the Lone Lane Park Pavilion, 30 Lone Lane.

Using LEGO® bricks, kids will build a different engineering-themed project in each class of this specialty camp.

They will explore different engineering fields, including mechanical, structural, aerospace, nautical and bioengineering.

They will also use critical thinking, and creative problem-solving to test and improve their creations.

Ziegel’s Union Church, 9990 Ziegels Church Road, Breinigsville, will have a Blessing of the Bikes 9 a.m. June 18.

Pastor Larry will lead a blessings ceremony for cyclists of all ages and all ability levels in the picnic grove.

Bring your bikes and join the service.

The Fellowship Committee is seeking donations for bake goods and help with serving coffee and bake goods before the riders head out on the road.

The church will have Vacation Bible School with stories, snacks, science, songs and fellowship 9 a.m. to noon June 20-24.

VBS is open to children ages 3 (by June 1) through sixth grade.

Mars and Beyond is the theme this year.

Donations of snacks are needed by June 19.
