Robert Michael Coleman, 69, of Northampton, died June 8, 2022, at home. He was the husband of Donna “Blondie” (Matejicka) for 48 years.
Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Robert and Mary (Mills) Coleman.
He worked at Coplay Cement, then at Kraft for 20 years and the Northampton Municipal Authority for 10 years.
He was a Northampton Borough councilman for 14 years for the first ward.
He was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church.
He was a member of Northampton Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4714 and American Legion Post 353.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Christine and partner Jason Karol of Northampton and Lindsey and partner Austin Walker of Breinigsville; two grandsons, Quinn and Rory Walker; a step-granddaughter, Ava Walker; a sister, Maryann Kroon and fiance Jerome Bankos of Northampton; and close friend, Tommy Denaro of Northampton.
He was predeceased by a brother, David Coleman; and in-laws, Emil Matejicka and Margaret Kent.
