Animals are available for adoption at the Center for Animal Health & Welfare no-kill shelter, 1165 Island Park Road, Easton. The shelter is working to end pet overpopulation by running a clinic so animals can be spayed or neutered before they go home. For more information, call 610-252-7722 or visit

A 1-year-old husky mix, Remmy, a high energy canine, loves to play and take walks. He is also dog friendly, although he can play rough. He loves people and attention and would benefit greatly from having an owner willing to spend time working with him and training him.
Found hiding under a pallet at the shelter, Malakai was scared and hungry when staff first brought him in, but he has thrived since. This 5-year-old domestic shorthair loves people and attention. He loves posing for the camera. He would do best as the only cat in the house.
