State Rep. Ryan Mackenzie, R-134th, has announced veterans assistance appointments are available 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 10, in his district office at the Lower Macungie Township Administration Building, 3402 Brookside Road.

Mackenzie offers this free service on the second Friday of each month.

Veterans or their dependents can schedule an in-person meeting with an American Legion service officer to discuss issues and have questions answered about benefits and programs for which they may be eligible.

Veterans do not need to be an American Legion member to receive these free services.

Veterans or their family members who are interested in meeting with the service officer should call Mackenzie’s district office at 610-965-9933 to schedule an appointment.
