The Parkland Garden Club will meet on June 13, at Jordan Lutheran Church, 5103 Snowdrift Road, Orefield.
This month, the PGC is hosting a new member’s tea, which will start at 6:30 p.m.
At 7 p.m. the program “Succulents Savvy” will be presented by Susan Wilson.
She is a secondary level science teacher and is involved in the Master Gardener program’s speakers bureau and manages the community garden at the Lehigh Extension office.
The talk will cover some of the most common and easy to grow succulents, and how to successfully grow these at home.
Water and light requirements, creating arrangements and planters, as well as the best propagation methods of succulents will be discussed.
