Lillian I. Andreas

Lillian I. Andreas, 86, of Northampton, died May 26, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. She was the wife of the late Lawrence R. Andreas for 64 years.

Born in Allen Township, she was a daughter of the late Reuben R. and Eva (Williams) Kosman.

She owned Andreas Notary and Tax Service, Northampton, for 17 years and was head supervisor at Andreas Home Improvements, Northampton. Earlier, she worked as a printer at Cross Country Clothes, Northampton.

She was the pastor of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Bangor, for 17 years, and St. Jacob’s UCC, Weissport, for seven years. She was a youth adviser, choir director and pianist. She was a Sunday school teacher and an organist for many area churches.

She was a member of the Willing Workers at Bensalem UCC, Lehighton. She was a member and treasurer of the Northampton Exchangettes. She was a committee member of the Northampton Community Days.

She is survived by four children, Linda Greenzweig with Ronald, Susan Lowder, Scott and Eric with Evelyn; three grandsons; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Sterling Kosman; and other family and friends.

She was predeceased by a grandson, Brent Greenzweig; and two siblings, Robert Kosman and Marie Harring.
