There will be a School’s Out Clean Out yard sale June 10-12 in the Timberidge neighborhood.

The yard sale hours are 4-8 p.m. June 10. The sale will begin 8 a.m. June 11 and 12.

Doughnuts and hot dogs will be available June 11 at 4105 Appleseed Drive, Coplay.

Help support the youth group of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church by donating new or gently used men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, shoes, purses and belts. Place shoes in a separate bag or box.

Bed and bath linens and stuffed animals are also accepted.

Donated clothing will be distributed to local thrift shops and areas in need of clothing.

Donations will be accepted at the church, 4331 Main St., Egypt, until June 18.

Whitehall pool passes will be on sale at Parkview Pool in Hokendauqua noon-7 p.m. June 19.

Make your check or money order payable to Whitehall Township.

The pools will be available to Whitehall Township residents only. Proof of identification is required.

Cementon Pool will open beginning June 18.

Because of a shortage of lifeguards, the pools will be open on a rotating basis.

Parkview Pool will be open noon-7 p.m. Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Cementon Pool will be open noon-7 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Cementon Pool will be closed the week of the Cement Belt Fair, set for June 27-July 2.

Egypt Community Church’s Vacation Bible School program, Discovery on Adventure Island, will be held 6-8:30 p.m. June 20-24.

Registration for fall 2022 field hockey at Egypt Memorial Park is open through July 15.

Instructional sessions in field hockey fundamentals are available for girls in kindergarten through second grade Aug. 7-Dec. 1. Practices will take place once a week, and games will be held Sundays.

Girls in grades 3-6 may register for competitive field hockey. There will be practices twice a week with games on Sundays. The competitive season begins Aug. 7 and ends Nov. 1.
