Ruth A. Reber, 87, of Auburn, died May 24, 2022, in Reading Hospital.

Born in Albany Township, Berks County, she was a daughter of the late Homer D. and Mary A. (Shollenberger) Stump.

She was a 1952 graduate of Slatington High School and a 1955 graduate of Allentown School of Nursing.

She was a nurse for Allentown Hospital, and later worked for the former Hamburg Center for 35 years, until retirement.

Her survivors include daughters Colinda M. (Alan) Hileman of Hamburg, and Lucinda J. Palubinski of Schuylkill Haven; son Daniel R. (Jean) Martel of Shoemakersville; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her sister Joan C. Calvert.
