June M. Trexler, 82, of Orwigsburg, formerly of Kempton, died peacefully May 28, 2022, at home.

The widow of Steward K. Trexler, who died in 2005, the couple was married 43 years.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Nevin O. and Margaret M. (Moul) Stein.

She was a 1958 graduate of Kutztown School District.

She was a member of New Bethel Church, Kempton.

Survivors include her daughter June Ann “Annie” Trexler and her husband, David Hughes, of Schuylkill Haven; son Brian A. (Kimberly) Trexler of Kempton; and grandchildren Casey (Joshua) Owen, Jairus A. Trexler and Amber M. Trexler.

She was predeceased by her companion, John Cole, in 2019.

Her funeral service will be 11 a.m. June 2 in Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway, New Tripoli, PA 18066, with a calling hour to begin at 10 a.m.

The Rev. Robert Ziehmer will officiate. Interment in New Bethel Union Cemetery, Kempton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to New Bethel Church c/o the funeral home address.
