Sheckler News: Students will have early dismissals

Sheckler Elementary School will have early dismissal, scheduled for 11:45 a.m. June 3, 6, 7 and 8. There will be no breakfast or lunch served on these days.

The last day of school for students is June 8. Enjoy the summer!

The Catasauqua playground’s daily summer activities begin June 13 and runs until July 22.

The program will offer Nerf basketball, basketball games/leagues and pickup games and will be free of charge. Morning and afternoon sessions are available, and no registration is required.

Catasauqua Youth Athletic Association’s football and cheerleading online registration is now open. Visit leaguelineup.com/cyaaroughriders for fee information and registration forms.

In-person registration will be announced at a later date.

CASD will be offering a summer food distribution through the Catasauqua Community Cares Program. It will take place 6-6:30 p.m. every Wednesday at Catasauqua Middle School and will begin June 8.

Each week, participants will receive items for breakfast, lunch and snacks.

To sign up, email C3P@cattysd.org and provide the student’s name and grade. Parents/guardians can also call 484-695-3872 for additional information.
