And the Freddy Awards go to Catasauqua High School for Outstanding Overall Production by a Smaller School for its production of “Chicago: High School Edition!” and to Hannah Kurczeski, who played Velma Kelly, for Outstanding Featured Performance by an Actress.

The Freddy Awards celebration was held May 26 at State Theatre in Easton.

High school students are invited to join Lehigh Valley Health Network for a career expo to learn about entry-level positions in health care, including nursing support, patient transport, registration, patient service representative and more. High school seniors who are considering a career with LVHN after graduation can learn about these roles and speak with managers about open positions.
The career expo will be held June 2 in the auditorium at LVHN-Cedar Crest as well as virtually 5-7 p.m.

It’s almost time to celebrate! CHS’ graduation ceremony in celebration of the Class of 2022 and its students’ accomplishments is right around the corner. The ceremony is planned for June 4 in the high school gymnasium.

Catasauqua Area School District families can now sign up for summer food distributions, organized by Catasauqua Community Cares Program.
Starting 6-6:30 p.m. June 8 and continuing every Wednesday at Catasauqua Middle School, 850 Pine St., C3P will provide registered families with items for breakfast, lunch and snacks.
