In honor of Armed Forces Day, Catasauqua American Legion Post 215 held a picnic May 21 at the Post, 330 Second St.
The event featured Taco Town and Greek Street food trucks, as well as live music from Ricky and the Rebels.
It was a hot and sunny afternoon, but attendees set up some chairs in the shade to enjoy the good times with friends.
Armed Forces Day is celebrated annually on the third Saturday in May.
Post 215 held its Memorial Day celebration May 30. The event featured services at Fairview Cemetery, the Pine Street Bridge, North Catasauqua William J. Albert Memorial Park and St. Mary’s Cemetery.
