May 16 The budget adoption, finance and human resource committee meeting of the BASD approved the proposed budget for the 2022-23 upcoming school year. The budget will now “sit” for 30 days before the board votes to finalize it at a regular BASD monthly meeting. This 30 day period allows additional public review.

In addition, Chief Human Resource Officer Russ Giordano reminded the board that 3 voting representatives need to be appointed to represent the district at the PSSA conference. Each district has representation based on the size of the school district. He also reviewed open and filled positions within the district for the 2022-23 school year. He was pleased to report no major voids in any one department.
