Will you speak up for a child who needs you? Lehigh County Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteers gather information about the circumstances of children who have been removed from their homes because of abuse and/or neglect. Greet visitors during gallery hours and provide information about the featured artist(s) at Nazareth Center for the Arts. Shifts are two to four hours between noon and 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Volunteers are welcome to bring their art, craft or practice their instrument during your gallery hours. The minimum age to volunteer is 17 with an adult. YLEAD is a leadership and service program for Lehigh Valley high school students (entering 10th, 11th or 12th grade in the fall) hosted by the Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley. Participants in the program develop critical leadership skills while working to support nonprofit organizations through service projects.
