“It’s the perfect graduation gift” is how Salisbury Middle School student Luka Chorwat described the school’s summer dance held May 20.
This sentiment was shared by many of his fellow classmates as they explained the unprecedented challenges they, as well as their families and teachers faced, due to the pandemic, during their years at SMS.
Aidan Smarch said he will miss many of his teachers, especially Richard Pearce who made math fun with his sense of humor, while Sarah Beckage spoke about her memories of her time at SMS and how she will miss her teachers.
For student Madison Dyer, the dance was the best way for everyone at SMS to come together and celebrate all that they achieved throughout this special year with everyone back at school.
