We are in the home stretch!
Memorial Day is around the corner and the kids (and teachers) are counting down the days to summer break.
Salisbury High School will hold its academic and service awards ceremony 7 p.m. May 25. Congratulations to those receiving honors.
All Salisbury Township School District schools will be closed May 27 and 30 in honor of the Memorial Day holiday.
The next work session for the school board will be held 7 p.m. June 1.
The last Salisbury Elementary School T-shirt day for the school year will be June 3.
The Class of 2022 will have its commencement ceremony 7 p.m. June 5. For the graduating seniors, congratulations and good luck in whichever direction life may take you!
Boys basketball will continue holding open gyms 5-7 p.m. Wednesdays through the end of the school year.
Open gyms are available to anyone who wants to play basketball in grades 8-12. Students at Salisbury Middle School needing transportation to the high school can take Bus 9 to SHS. For questions, contact Coach Weaver at jcweaves@gmail.com.
It’s getting closer –have you started the spring clean out?
The Salisbury Athletic Booster Club will hold a clothing drive June 4 at SHS, 500 E. Montgomery St. The drop off location will be the high school auxiliary gym entrance 9 a.m. to noon. The truck will pick up donations between noon and 1 p.m. For more information, visit the website www.clothingdrive.net.
The Devonshire Drop-off site will be open May 26 and 28, while the Franko Farm Drop off center will be open June 2 and 4. Both sites will be closed May 30.
