Lynn E. Lazarus Sr., 70, of Germansville, died peacefully on May 21, 2022, in his home.

He and his wife, Ilene R. (Miller) Lazarus, were married 48 years.

Born April 1, 1952, in Northampton, he was the son of the late Calvin H. and Lorene J. (Roth) Lazarus.

He was a lifelong farmer and employed on his family farm, Lazarus Farm and Market, Whitehall.

He was a member of Heidelberg Fish and Game Club, Copeechan Fish and Game Club, and the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by daughter, April A. Storm of Germansville; sons Lynn E. Lazarus Jr. of Germansville, Calvin H. Lazarus III (Andrea) of Schnecksville; siblings Grant A. Lazarus (Linda) of Germansville, Carol A. Bennecoff of Kutztown, Gary L. Lazarus (Nancy), Wayne H. Lazarus (Grace), all of Germansville, Gloria J. Bingaman (Daniel) of Tamaqua, Donna H. Strawbridge of Whitehall, Leslie D. Lazarus (Rhonda) of Breinigsville; grandsons Mason, Logan, Samuel, Levi and Braden; many nieces, nephews; and extended family.

He was predeceased by sisters Janet M. Lazarus and Susan M. Snyder.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. May 28 in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville.

Family and friends may pay their respects 1-3 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
