Lower Macungie Township celebrates spring with 10th community day

Lower Macungie residents enjoyed sunny skies May 3 for the township’s 10th Community Day held outside and inside the Lower Macungie Township Community Center.

This is the first Community Day event since COVID-19 shut down the state in spring 2020. The newly-revived free event featured family-friendly games, crafts, music, food trucks and more.

More than 60 area businesses, clubs and nonprofit organizations manned booths inside the township’s gym.

The township’s community center is located at 3450 Brookside Road, Macungie. For more nformation, visit www.lowermac.com.
