LEBANON Student inducted into honor society

Jacob Creitz of Germansville, was recently inducted into Sigma Alpha Pi at Lebanon Valley College, Annville.

Creitz, a graduate of Northwestern Lehigh High School, is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in communication sciences and disorders at The Valley.

Sigma Alpha Pi is the National Honor Society of Leadership and Success.

The society serves as a powerful force of good in the greater community by encouraging and organizing action to better the world.

Students are selected for induction based upon their GPA and level of involvement.

The society is based on six main tenets for achieving success: finding a vision, setting goals, persevering, taking risks, pursuing your passion, and continuous improvement.

He was also one of 25 Lebanon Valley College students named to the Middle Atlantic Conference’s 2020-21 All-Sportsmanship Team.

Creitz is a member of the men’s cross-country team.

One student-athlete in each sport was nominated by their coach for inclusion on the team, which recognizes student-athletes who exemplify great character and demonstrate the act of sportsmanship both on and off the field of play. They represent their team, institution, and the conference with high integrity, and exhibit respect for themselves, teammates, coaches and opponents.

The MAC named 403 student-athletes to its 2020-21 All-Sportsmanship Teams.
