Barbara A. Sulzer, 84, of Allentown, died peacefully May 14, 2022, in Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice Unit, Allentown.

She and her husband John L. “Jack” Sulzer Sr. were married 65 years.

Born Jan. 5, 1938, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Peter H. and Florence M. (Gogle) Hoffman.

She was a secretary in the Pet Center at ALPO before retiring. Before that, she worked for the Parkland School District at the former Springhouse Jr. High School.

She was a member of Jordan United Church of Christ, South Whitehall.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by children Brian J. Sulzer (Sandra) of Lexington, N.C., John L. Sulzer Jr. (Marilyn) of Lehighton, Lori Ann Turney of Germansville, and Alan J. Sulzer (Lan) of Macungie; brother James P. Hoffman (Karen) of Allentown; sisters Linda L. Mustacchia (James) of Allentown, Mary L. Hoffman of Emmaus; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
