To celebrate the conclusion of this school year, the Student Government Association will host an Extreme Field Day May 20. Groups of six to eight students will compete in games such as dodge ball, tug of war and sponge/bucket relay races. The Young Democrats Club will celebrate their end-of-year dinner at Center Valley’s KOME 5-6 p.m. May 19. This event is for preregistered students only. Students must provide their own transportation to and from the event.

The Emmaus High School Dance Team will host its recital May 20 with tickets sold at the door. Find more details @emmausdance on Instagram.

Senior Awards Night will take place 6:30-9:30 p.m. May 25 in the EHS auditorium.

The EHS Art Department will hold its annual art show 7-9 p.m. May 26. Attendees are reminded to wear this year’s art show shirt if purchased.

Fall sports sign-ups are now available for the 2022-2023 school year. Find the Google form in your class Schoology page. Applications are due May 31 and Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association, Inc. physicals for the fall sports season must be completed after June 1.

For Interact Club members: the end-of-year celebration will feature a Kona Ice Truck 2:25-3 p.m. June 2 in the EHS Courtyard. If you plan to attend, you must add your name to the sign-up sheet, which can be found in Schoology.

The counseling office encourages students to attend the Teen EMS Camp by Lehigh Valley Health Network, where various levels of public safety careers will be explored. In addition, campers will earn certifications in CPR and first aid. The program will take place Aug. 17-19, with each day following an 8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. schedule.
