Emergency personnel responded to the scene of a fire May 12 in Catasauqua Borough.
According to a report from Catasauqua Police Department, at approximately 12:53 a.m., firefighters and officers were called to Star Disposal, in the 200 block of Race Street, for a reported structure fire. When responders arrived at the scene, the building was fully involved, the report said.
Fire departments from Catasauqua, North Catasauqua, Coplay, Greenawalds, Woodlawn and Hanover Township, Northampton County, along with Northampton Regional EMS, responded.
The fire is under investigation by the fire marshals of Catasauqua, North Catasauqua and Pennsylvania State Police, according to the report.
No further information was available as of press time.
