Plant for the future with the help of the Lehigh Valley Master Gardener plant sale! Attract beneficial pollinators to your garden by introducing the color and beauty of native perennials and encourage the development of a more resilient ecosystem.
Three separate kits are available to purchase, and each kit contains 15 plants: five each of three different preselected plant species. The plant plugs are 2 inches square with 5-inch root systems and cost $50 a kit. Bee is for Bold Color Kit and contains Pycnanthemum Flexuosum-Appalacian Mountain Mint, Monarda Didyma-Scarlet Bee Balm and Ratibida Pinnata-Gray-Headed Coneflower. The Spring Pastels for Pollinators kit contains Polemonium Reptans-Jacobs Ladder, Penstemon Calycosus-Smooth Beard Tongue and Phlox Stolonifera-Creeping Phlox. Pollinator Pals for the Border kit contains Carex Flaccosperma-Blue Wood Sedge, Heuchera Americana “Dales Strain”-Dales Alum Root and Sisyrinchium Angustifolium “Suwannee”-Blue-Eyed Grass.

The native plant pickup date is scheduled for 10 a.m.-2 p.m. June 4 at the maintenance facility at Wayne Grube Park, 1200 Willowbrook Road, Northampton.
Orders are due by May 23.
