Bath: Farmers market has new day, time, place

The Bath Farmers Market celebrated opening day with a new time, day and location May 14.

It kicked off its 15th season at the new location, Monocacy Creek Park, West Main and Race streets. The market is open 9 a.m.-noon Saturdays with a variety of vendors.

The Bath Museum, 121 S. Walnut St., will be open for public viewing 10 a.m.-2 p.m. May 21.

Volunteers are always welcome, including those needing community service hours.

Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, will be having an outdoor worship service May 29. This will be the only service of the day, set for 9:30 a.m. in the pavilion.

If the weather does not cooperate, the service will be moved to fellowship hall.

Attendees will welcome the Sons of Veterans 10:20 a.m. as they gather in the cemetery for a short service of remembrance to pay tribute to those who gave their lives for freedom.

Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company, 2718 Mountain View Drive, has had a recent fire at the building.

Tuesday night bingo and other functions are canceled until further notice. The building is also closed to the general public.

The fire company thanks you for your continued support and understanding during this difficult time and looks forward to reopening as soon as possible.
