Bethlehem area Rotary Clubs conducted a park, creek and trail cleanup day April 30 under beautiful sunny skies.
The Bethlehem Rotary Club worked on Centennial Park and Island Children’s Garden across from the Ice House, and the Bethlehem Morning Star Rotary Club worked along Monocacy Creek and Monocacy Way Trail near the grounds of the Burnside Plantation.
The clubs partnered with the Monocacy Creek Watershed Association, as well as the Bethlehem Police Department and recruits, volunteers from the Hope Center, the Bethlehem Health Bureau and Bethlehem City Council to help pick up trash that had accumulated during the winter. Trash bags and gloves were provided.
