William “Bill” M. Herishko, 81, of Allentown, died May 6, 2022, at Cornerstone Living, New Tripoli. He was the husband of Mary Ann (Griffith) Herishko for 56 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Michael and Mary Rose (DeFiore) Herishko.

He was a 1958 graduate of Allen High School, Allentown.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Kutztown State College in 1962.

He was a research chemist for 20 years for the former Allentown Paint. He worked for Atlas Minerals, Mertztown, for 16 years. He then worked part time for the former Benchmark Analytical, Allentown, for nine years until he retired.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Joanne G. of Harleysville and Jennifer A. with James C. Morykin of Pen Argyl; two grandchildren, James E. and Stephanie A. Morykin; and a brother, Thomas with Illiana Herishko of Haddon Township, N.J.

There will be a memorial service 11 a.m. May 19 at Cedar Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 1700 Airport Road, Allentown, 18109.
