Sheckler Elementary School’s egg drop will take place noon May 16.

Sheckler Elementary will be offering kindergarten registration at the school office May 18.

Students must live within Catasauqua Area School District boundaries and be 5 years old before Sept. 1.

The annual fourth-grade canal trip will take place May 19.

CASD will be offering a summer food distribution through Catasauqua Community Cares Program. It will take place 6-6:30 p.m. every Wednesday at Catasauqua Middle School and is set to begin June 8.

Each week, participants will receive items for breakfast, lunch and snacks.

To sign up, email C3P@cattysd.org and provide your child’s name and grade. Parents can also call 484-695-3872 for additional information.

Sheckler will be celebrating its fun day event for each grade during the week of May 23.

Kindergarten and first grade will celebrate May 25; second and third grades will celebrate May 26; and fourth grade celebrates May 27.

Sheckler will be closed May 30 for Memorial Day.
