Michael R. Ruvolis, 69, of Allentown, died May 2, 2022, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Kathryn (Kohler) Ruvolis for 47 years.
Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Charles and Pearl (Deremer) Ruvolis.
He was a 1970 graduate of Wilson High School.
He was drafted by and honorably discharged from the U.S. Army.
He was for 45 years a machinist and toolmaker before retiring.
He coached youth league, CYO and AAU basketball as well as high school girls basketball and middle school football.
He had three daughters, Jessica Ortiz (Elliot, Beckett and Elloise), Michaelina Ruvolis (Makaila and Juliette) and Victoria Ruvolis.
He was predeceased by a brother, Edward “Skip” Ruvolis, who was killed in Vietnam.
There will be a visitation 5-8 p.m. May 13 at the funeral home, 444 Pershing Blvd., Whitehall. There will be a brunch celebrating his life 9-11:30 a.m. May 14 at the Palmer Township Fire Company, 950 S. 27th St., Easton, 18045.
