Salem United Methodist Church, 1067 Blue Mountain Drive, Danielsville, will hold a veterans picnic 1-3 p.m. May 21.

All veterans, active military and reservists, along with their families, are invited to the complimentary picnic luncheon. In addition, the church will hold an armed services recognition ceremony.

Lehigh Township Historical Society is planning to hold a barbecue takeout dinner noon-4 p.m. June 5 at the Historical Centre, 3811 Lehigh Drive.

Order roast chicken or pulled pork with sides and dessert by May 27.

Save the date for Hope Lutheran Church’s Vacation Bible School.

VBS is scheduled for 9 a.m.-noon July 11-15 with a food truck party theme.

The event is open to children age 3 to those completing sixth grade in 2022. All children must be potty trained.
