Registration for Camp Whitehall will be 4-6 p.m. May 12 at the Whitehall Township Municipal Building, 3219 MacArthur Road.

Camp is for Whitehall and Coplay residents. There is a cost. No transportation will be provided.

Camp Cementon, for children in grades 1-6, will be 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. at Cementon Playground, 5185 Dewey St.

Camp is June 20-24, June 27-July 1, July 11-15, July 25-29 and Aug. 1-5.

Specialty camps in sports, art and theater for children in grades 2-6 will be 9 a.m.-noon at Jefferson Playground, 901 Jefferson St.

Sports camp will be offered June 20-24 and June 27-July 1.

Art camp is July 11-15 and July 18-22.

Theater camp is set July 25-29 and Aug. 1-5.

Boy Scout Troop 59 is planning an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner fundraiser 4-7 p.m. May 14 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 4331 Main St., Egypt.

The Timberidge neighborhood annual yard sale will take place 7 a.m.-1 p.m. May 21.

The rain date is set for May 22.

Pool passes for Cementon and Parkview (Hokendauqua) pools will be on sale 4-6 p.m. May 23, 25, 26 and 31 at the municipal building.

Whitehall’s pools will be available to Whitehall residents only. Proof of ID is required.

The pools are scheduled to open June 18.

Because of a shortage of lifeguards, the pools will be open on a rotating basis.

Parkview Pool will be open noon-7 p.m. Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Cementon Pool will be open noon-7 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Cementon Pool will be closed the week of the Cement Belt Fair, scheduled for June 27-July 2.

The return of the Egypt Park Festival and Curt Simmons Day is June 4. The celebration will run 11 a.m.-10 p.m. at Egypt Memorial Park, 4548 Main St.

The event will include a car show, musical entertainment, children’s rides and games, a bake sale, basket raffle, great food and beverages.

Egypt Memorial Park will be holding a fundraiser 4-9 p.m. June 8 at Samuel Owens Restaurant and Bar, 128 Chestnut St., Coplay. Mention the Egypt Park fundraiser, and a portion of the sale will benefit the park.
