Salisbury
The Salisbury boys team split a meet against Notre Dame (Green Pond) and Catasauqua as they beat the Rough Riders 88-59 but lost to the Crusaders 92-58. The Falcon girls team dropped both sides of the meet, losing 101-48 to Catty and 121-29 to Notre Dame.
Josiah Day (high jump), Tyson Utesch (pole vault), Chase Fenstermaker (long jump), Kyle Artis (triple jump) and Hunter Bleam (shot put) all won events for the Falcons boys team, which is now 2-5 this season.
In the girls meet, Brooke Bleam (high jump, pole vault) won two events for the Falcons (1-6).

BASEBALL

Pen Argyl-Salisbury
The Falcons hung on for a 10-9 win over Pen Argyl.
Salisbury was leading the back-and-forth game 10-7 before the Knights got a pair of runs in the top of the seventh inning. The Falcons trailed 4-0 after two and a half innings and were still down 7-3 before a six-run sixth inning put them in front.
Five Salisbury players had two hits in the game, including Hunter Rothrock (2-for-4, 2 runs, RBI), Tim Schware (2-for-4, 2 RBIs, run), Jake Bucchin (2-for-4, 2 runs), Lucas Graver (2-for-4, 2 runs, 2 RBIs) and Jordan Tocci (2-for-4, RBI).
Lovelidge got the win, pitching four innings and allowing four hits and just two earned runs while striking out five and walking just one. Graver went three innings and allowed five hits and two earned runs while striking out six and walking two.
With the win, the Falcons improve to 6-5 overall and in Colonial League play.
Wednesday, April 20
Salisbury-Bangor
The Falcons fell 6-3 to Bangor.
Jake Bucchin went 2-for-3 for Salisbury, while teammate Matt Nunez (2-for-4) and Tim Schware (2-for-3) also had two hits in the game.
SOFTBALL
Friday, April 22
Pen Argyl-Salisbury
Salisbury used a big sixth inning to beat the Green Knights 4-1.
Trailing 1-0 after five and a half innings, the Falcons scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth en route to the win.
Beth Carney allowed four hits over seven innings to earn the win. She also had a double in the game.
Wednesday, April 20
Salisbury-Bangor
The Slaters beat Salisbury 6-2.
