Upper Macungie Township is partnering with St. Luke’s to host “Walk with a Doc” on the third Saturday of each month 9:30 a.m. May 21 through Oct. 15 at Lone Lane Park Pavilion, 30 Lone Lane Road, Allentown.

A provider (doctor, NP, PA or RD) will give a brief presentation on a health topic.

The doctor will then lead participants on a walk at their own pace for approximately 30-45 minutes.

The purpose is to provide health education while promoting physical activity and exercise outdoors.

No registration is needed to attend.

The Mission Team at Ziegel’s Union Church, 9990 Ziegels Church Road, Breinigsville, will hold its shrimp boil 4-6 p.m. May 15.

The menu will include a salad, half pound shrimp, sausage, potatoes, corn, a drink and a dessert.

A children’s meal will include a salad, half pound shrimp, sausage, potatoes, half a cob of corn, a drink and a dessert.

There is a cost for adults and children.
