Mildred E. Werley, 95, formerly of Fogelsville, died April 27, 2022, with her daughter by her side at Country Meadows, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Roy E. Werley for 67 years. Born in Lowhill Township, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Ella (Hausman) Miller.
She was a sewing machine operator in the garment industry in the Lehigh Valley for 40 years. After that she cleaned for various families in the Lehigh Valley for 20 years.
She was a lifelong member of Weisenberg Church and a longtime member of Weisenberg/Lowhill Historical Society.
She enjoyed sewing, baking, gardening and entertaining. She loved being with people and socializing with family and friends.
She is survived by a daughter, Diane Smith (Ronald), of Granite Bay, Calif.; a son, Myron (Arlis), of Grimes, Iowa; grandchildren, Justin Smith, Robyn Smith, Adam (Laura) and Scott (Lindsey); great-granddaughter, Avett. She was predeceased by a brother, Clifford Miller.

Visitation 11 a.m. to noon May 7 at Weisenberg Lutheran Church, 7645 Weisenberg Church Rd., New Tripoli, with the funeral service starting noon. Arrangements were made by Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., Fogelsville.
