Teens are invited to join the Teen Advisory Board, which helps us plan and run some of our events. TAB meets 1:30 p.m. the second Saturday of every month.

The next meeting will be May 14.

Our indoor yard sale is scheduled for May 20 and 21. The library is accepting items in good condition. We do not accept furniture or electronics.

The library is also accepting book donations for our book sale, set for June 17 and 18.

Join Master Gardener Lori Metz for a program on small-space vegetable gardens 6:30 p.m. May 26. Discover the basics of choosing plants, starting seeds, caring for and maintaining your edibles and more.

Who do you think you are? Come to a Genealogy 101 presentation 11 a.m. June 4 for an introduction to family history research, including strategies, resources and tips to begin your family research.

Mary Ellen Heckman, dean of library services at Reading Area Community College and founding member of the Berks County Genealogical Society, will be the presenter.
