Mayor Barbara Schlegel announced the annual community yard sale is set for 9 a.m.-2 p.m. May 7 at Fireman’s Field on Race Street. This event is in support of the K-9 unit with Catasauqua Police Department.
Catasauqua Music Arts Booster Association will be selling hoagies to continue support for scholarships and performances for the district’s chorus and band.

Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St., will be having its junior Victorian tea and basket raffle 2-4 p.m. May 15.
Doors open 1:30 p.m. for the basket raffle.
Kid-friendly beverages and desserts will be served. There will also be door prizes and activities for kids ages 3 to 103.
Dads, sons and grandsons are welcome, too.
The event is hosted by the Holy Trinity youth group. Proceeds will benefit Tails of Valor, Paws of Honor.
