You enjoy judging a book by its cover.
You see a pretty face and turn crazy.
Instead of seeking interest in a great mind.
As you drag your fingers along the spines of numerous books on a shelf,
Sorry mine wasn’t neater..
All I appear to be is frayed pages and withered ink.
You’re displeased with the folded pages,
Past memories leaving a marking.
So I can’t really blame you
For putting me back on the shelf.
