A 36-year-old male, of Bethlehem, allegedly violated a protection from abuse order 6:30 p.m. Feb. 19 at a location in Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 37-year-old male, of Zionsville, allegedly violated a protection from abuse order in an incident in the 6200 block of Woodlawn Drive, Upper Milford Township, 7:07 a.m. Feb. 16, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Accidents
A Florida motorist escaped injury when his vehicle crashed into a fallen tree on Spinnerstown Road, Lower Milford Township, 4:30 a.m. March 2, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The motorist was southbound in the area of Cassel Road. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
An Alburtis motorist was hurt when her sport utility vehicle crashed into a tree along Main Road East, Upper Milford Township, 1:13 a.m. March 26, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The motorist was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest campus. An Emmaus Ambulance Corps crew also responded.
Theft from vehicle
Tara Michelle Book, 56, of Allentown, was taken into custody after she was found in a vehicle in the 6500 block of Pioneer Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 12:11 a.m. April 9, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Book allegedly removed a cellphone charger and perfume from the vehicle.
Theft
A purse and its contents were removed from a children’s party at a location on Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, between 7 and 8 p.m. March 27, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The purse, valued at $250, included a driver’s license, a key for a business, four silver rings with a total value of $300, four credit cards and $20 cash.
DUI
A 24-year-old male, of Alburtis, was placed under arrest for allegedly driving under the influence after state police investigated a motorist found unresponsive behind the wheel of a vehicle in the area of Trexlertown Road at Spring Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:21 p.m. Feb. 24, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The driver allegedly fell asleep at a red light.
A 25-year-old female, of Allentown, was allegedly driving under the influence at the intersection of East Main Street and Lumber Street, Macungie borough, 2:30 a.m. Feb. 27, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 30-year-old female, of Allentown, allegedly was driving under the influence when her vehicle struck a tree on Chestnut Street, about 709 feet south of Walnut Lane, Upper Milford Township, 1:55 a.m. March 2, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 30-year-old male, of Allentown, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop on Hamilton Boulevard/Kessler Road, Lower Macungie Township, 1:14 p.m. March 23, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 42-year-old male, of Blandon, allegedly was driving under the influence at Cotton Street and South Chestnut Street, Macungie borough, 1:11 a.m. March 21, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Identity theft
A resident of the 1100 block of Grange Road, Lower Macungie Township, discovered her personal information was used to purchase items online totaling $317.84, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported March 29.
A resident of Springridge Drive West, Lower Macungie Township, discovered personal information was used to open a bank account, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported March 21.
A resident of South Cedar Crest Boulevard, Upper Milford Township, learned someone used his personal information to open an online bank account, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Feb. 24. The bank account was closed.
Two residents of Pioneer Drive, Lower Macungie Township, discovered an unauthorized debit charge of $426.99 was made Feb. 21, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Feb. 22.
A resident of Sequoia Drive, Lower Macungie Township, learned her personal information was used after she received a debit card and confirmation of a new checking account opened with a different bank, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The account had been flagged as fraudulent and closed by the bank. The incident was reported Feb. 23.
A resident of Fairway Lane, Lower Macungie Township, discovered her personal information was used after her employer notified her of a claim for unemployment filed in her name, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Feb. 22.
A resident of South Ridge Drive, Lower Macungie Township, discovered her personal information was used to open a bank account sometime between Feb. 22 and March 1, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Scam
An unknown person claiming to be from the Social Security Administration contacted a resident of Four Seasons Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, regarding the resident’s supposed involvement with drug smuggling and money laundering and told the resident a wire transfer of nearly $50,000 to a bank account was needed to settle the issue, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogeslville. The incident was reported March 23.
Disorderly conduct
A 59-year-old male, of Macungie, allegedly urinated in public on two separate occasions, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. He was cited after troopers were called to the intersection of Spring Creek Road and Trexlertown Road, Lower Macungie Township, for a welfare check of a person sleeping in a pickup truck March 22.
Harassment
A student at Lower Macungie Middle School, 6299 Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, allegedly swung a door at a teacher, striking the teacher’s left arm and shoulder, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported March 7.
