A 45-year-old male, of Allentown, was charged March 14 with alleged possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on East Susquehanna Street at South Filbert Street, according to Salisbury police.
Discharging a firearm in a park
A 30-year-old male, of Allentown, was charged March 21 with allegedly discharging a firearm in a park following an incident in Walking Purchase Park in the 1500 block of Constitution Drive, according to Salisbury police.
Truancy
A 17-year-old-male was charged March 18 with alleged truancy after he accrued an excessive number of unexcused absences from Salisbury Township High School, 500 E. Montgomery St., according to Salisbury police.

Theft from vehicle
A resident of the 1700 block of Ritter Street discovered her license plate was stolen from her vehicle after it was towed to another facility following a motor vehicle accident, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported March 23.
Scam
A resident of the 1900 block of Duffield Court was scammed during a vehicle sale after receiving a check for the purchase of a vehicle and the check total included an extra $1,300, according to Salisbury police. The supposed buyer requested a check back for the difference and a check was issued. The original check was found to be fraudulent and the resident lost $1,300 in the transaction. The incident was reported March 16 and remains under investigation.
A resident of the 700 block of East Paoli Street discovered multiple transactions were fraudulently made through her bank account and Target account with a total loss of $3,500, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported March 7 and remains under investigation.
Fraud
A resident in the 300 block of East Wayne Avenue learned a check for a bill payment was altered to fraudulently pay another person, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported March 26 and remains under investigation.
Assist
Salisbury police officers assisted the Lehigh County Sheriff’s Department while authorities served a warrant in the 700 block of Harrison Avenue March 3, according to Salisbury police. The suspect was taken into custody without incident.
Operating a vehicle without ignition interlock
A 37-year-old male, of Allentown, was charged March 1 with allegedly illegally operating a vehicle not equipped with ignition interlock and traffic control signal violations following a traffic stop on West Rock Road, according to Salisbury police.
Identity theft
A resident of the 3400 block of Lincoln Avenue discovered his personal information was used to purchase an iPhone when the phone was delivered to another address, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported March 10 and remains under investigation.
Retail theft
An 18-year-old female, of Emmaus, was charged March 22 with alleged retail theft following an incident at Ross Dress for Less discount department store, South Mall, 3300 Lehigh St., according to Salisbury police.
