Linda L. (Schleicher) Walters, 73, formerly of Whitehall, died April 21, 2022, at Complete Care at Lehigh Center where she had been residing. She was the companion of the late Larry Fisher. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Arthur J. and Arline A. (DeLong) Schleicher.
She was employed in the specialty china department at the former Hess’s Department in Allentown for several years before retiring. After her formal retirement she was a receptionist at Dorney Park, Allentown.
She was a longtime leader of the Girls Club at Salem U.C.C. in Catasauqua.
She was a member of St. John’s U.C.C. in Northampton.
She is survived by nieces, Janice M. Ambearle (Jay), of Coplay, Donna M. Fink (Brian), of Coplay, Luann C. Chuyko, of Northampton, Lori A. Zellner, of Northampton; nephews, Dale R. Flores (Jane), of Treichlers, Jeffery S. Schleicher, of Catasauqua, Brian S. Schleicher, of Lehighton, Ronald A. Zellner Jr., of Northampton; Daryl’s wife, Lisa Flores, of Orefield; a brother-in-law, Jerry Deutsch; many great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings, Richard E. Schleicher, Robert J. Schleicher, Kathleen J. Deutsch, Carolyn J. Zellner; nephew, Daryl R. Flores.

A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. May 7 at Union Church Cemetery, 5550 Route 873, Neffs.
