Lehigh Valley Master Gardeners holding plant sale

Plant for the future with the help of the Lehigh Valley Master Gardener Plant Sale.

Attract beneficial pollinators to your garden by introducing the color and beauty of native perennials and encourage the development of a more resilient ecosystem.

Three separate kits are available to purchase and each kit contains 15 plants: five each of three different pre-selected plant species.

The cost of each kit contains plant plugs which are 2-inches square with 5-inch root systems.

Bee is for Bold Color Kit contains pycnanthemum flexuosum – Appalacian Mountain mint, monarda didyma – Scarlet bee balm, and ratibida pinnata – gray-headed coneflower.

Spring Pastels for Pollinators Kit contains polemonium reptans – Jacobs ladder, penstemon calycosus - smooth beard tongue and phlox stolonifera – creeping phlox.

Pollinator Pals for the Border Kit contains carex flaccosperma – blue wood sedge, heuchera americana ‘Dales strain’ – Dales alum root and sisyrinchium angustifolium ‘Suwannee’ – blue-eyed grass.

Quantities are limited so place your native plant kit order by May 23.

The native plant pickup date is between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 4 at Wayne Grube Park - Maintenance Facility, 1200 Willowbrook Road, Northampton.
